Micron level tolerance realized with Single-Pass processing

 High precision and long tool life have been realized through the incorporation of an oscillation mechanism that is synchronized to the main shaft.  The amplitude can be set to a range of 0 to 3 mm. The amplitude can also be adjusted to suit the quality of work materials, which widens the range of machining accuracy and production rate.  By combing this with a reamer from TAKEZAWA-SEIKI, a micron-precision tolerance can be realized with a Single-Pass honing process.

 A high-output motor of 1.5 kW is mounted on the machine; which allows honing up to a diameter of 30 mm*.
